Projects
Facebook Data Analytics
My IT career started with a job as a Java programmer at the Chair of Professional Communication at the University of Duisburg-Essen. My task was to program a data fetcher that could download information such as comments, likes and other publicly available information via Facebook's REST API and store it in an SQL database so that it could subsequently be examined and analyzed using the Tableau software.

Hybrid Cloud Migration with Microsoft Azure
After a successful Campus Innovation Challenge by Accenture, I was offered a 6-month internship at Accenture, where I was assigned as an IT consultant for the GEA Group company. The project was one of the largest cloud migration projects at the time with over 4000 workloads, of which about 3000 servers moved to the hybrid cloud and about 1000 servers were decommissioned. One of my tasks was to work on a PowerShell script that would discover more servers in order to recover more workloads from the shadow IT, Communicate with the customer and their product owners to educate them on the upcoming migration to ensure a smooth migration. In addition, I coordinated GEA's service provider who was responsible for the manual migration and I was allowed to participate in the regular jour fixes of the program board to report or document among other things. For part of the private cloud migration, I managed and led the entire migration process from assessment to the actual migration to an on-premise ESXi host.

ONE.shop UX Design
During my time at diconium digital solutions gmbh, I tried to gain insight into the work as a UX designer, as this work was closely related to my studies. My task was to support the development of the Volkswagen AG Online Shop. The goal was to develop an online store that could be used by all subsidiaries (such as Porsche or Skoda) simply by exchanging the logos and colors. I supported the project by being primarily responsible for updating the KEY databases and making changes in individual pages with the design tool Sketch.

Serverless Infrastructure with Azure Functions
At the beginning of my career as a (Cloud) Solution Architect at Aldi Süd international services SE & Co. oHG, I was given a very important project which, as of May 2023, is still under NDA. The goal of the project is to build a serverless infrastructure in Microsoft Azure that can be controlled through on-premise applications and communicates with other SaaS solutions via API calls. As a Solution Architect, I support the development of the infrastructure design, communicate with security architects about potential risks, and help programmers implement their tasks. In doing so, I coordinate, among other things, the external service provider of AIS for firewall releases, provisioning of resources in the cloud and on-premise.
